When I started the Tempus ad Requiem series in 2012, it never occurred to me it would still be evolving and growing a decade later. Each finished piece inevitably shaped ideas for new compositions, and over the years the proposal of publishing all these paintings together became a worthy next step. When the fiftieth Tempus ad Requiem was completed in 2022, I decided it was time to celebrate!

Within this book I’m very pleased to present the fifty paintings in my Tempus ad Requiem series, featuring still lifes with birds.

My Tempus ad Requiem paintings have time and again been received with enthusiasm and most have found new homes across the world, which brings me great joy and encourages me to continue to explore this fascinating theme.
